Youth Development
Ballymun United Football Club was established as an amateur soccer club in 1969, from an area 2km south of
Dublin Airport, our new soccer complex is beside the new IKEA store on St Margaret's Road. Ballymun. Our
mission is to promote the game of association football, promote the community, develop sporting and social skills among our youth to enable them to have a better quality of life and become proud members of our club.
We operate an anti drug policy, anti-discrimination policy, anti racist policy and an equal opportunities policy, our drug testing policy is currently been drafted.
Ballymun United Football Club are in the process of developing a soccer complex on St Margaret's Road, Ballymun.
It is hoped that we are in a position to get the first game played in October 2009, our clubhouse development
will begin in the next few weeks and hopefully be open for business in Feb 2010.
Our Main Senior Pitch will be of top International Standard and will include Floodlights and a Main Stand, it is hoped with time to be in a position to have a seated area around the pitch.
Our Youth Pitch will, in time, include a seated area for 1,000 pers and be floodlit, it will be the minimum size for senior football, it has an excellent playing surface.
All youth coaches Vetted and qualified to
